28th April 2004 Windsurfing: Dahab Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: force 7 + Surf / Sea State: flat / leg break chop Air Temperature: 30 Sea Temperature: 25 Weather: cloudy ! Max Speed: Distance Covered: The day dawned with lots of cloud if in england it looked like it was going to rain, and the wind was in the right direction As the wind is off shore its hard to guess the sail size so went with 4.7 and 105 jp x-cite would of liked to take a sub 100 lt board but with wind shadow I wouldn't of got back without swim. Once out of the shadow from the hotels it got very very windy! I could of done with smaller sail but none were avalible the windsurf centre had over stretched its self so 4.7 it had to be. didn't do much other than blast up and down too scary to try anything. Had a bit of a moment when I missed the back strap and was set flying by a gust kit JP 105 X-cite 4.7 core |
